Continuous System Integration in DEVS Formalism

In this paper, we described the implementation of classical numerical integration algorithms (Euler, Heun, Runge-Kutta 4) in the DEVS formalism, using the Artisstar library. This work allows us to benchmark them in comparison to Quantized State Systems (QSS) methods, on a common DEVS-based simulation framework and on the same test cases, including a real-life aerospace system model.
